Purpose and legal basis of processing personal data
The processing of personal data is based on the performance of a task carried out in the public interest and the exercise of official authority by Taike in accordance with Article 6 (1) (e) of the General Data Protection Regulation (EU 2016/679).
Webropol data is processed in the following types of situations:
- Collecting registrations for events organized by Creative Net.
- Collecting feedback and/or assessment surveys for Creative Net
Responses may be used to compile statistics and other reports. Personal data is not used or disclosed for commercial marketing purposes.
Personal data in the customer register
The data collect varies according to the purpose of the survey. The following types of data may be asked on Webropol forms:
- name
- address
- telephone number
- company/organisation
- areas of interest
- diet.
Personal data is not requested in all surveys.
Disclosure of data
Data about participants is reported to the funding body of the Creative Net project (ELY Centre fo Häme). Data collection and retention is based on special EU legislation and the guidelines of the funding body. Data is not disclosed to third parties unless consent has been clearly and unequivocally requested. Even in these cases, data is only disclosed for the purpose for which consent has been given.
Transfer of data outside the EU or EEA countries
Personal data is not transferred outside the EU or EEA countries or to international organisations.
Retention periods for personal data
Data about participants is retained for at least 10 years to verify the organisation of the event. The collection and retention of data is based on special EU legislation and the guidelines of the funding body.
Data is stored in the Arkki case management system (Arkki Privacy Policy). Webropol surveys are erased when no longer needed for their purpose.
Regular sources of data
Data is collected from those responding to the surveys. Responding to the surveys is voluntary. Data is not obtained from any other sources.
Automated decision-making
Personal data is not used for automated decision-making.
Rights of the data subject
Right to inspect
You can send a request to inspect your data to the data protection officer (contact information above). Be prepared to prove your identity.
Right to rectification
You have the right to rectify inaccurate and incorrect personal data about yourself. You can send a request in writing to the data protection officer (contact information above). Indicate in the request for rectification the data to be corrected and the exact changes or additions. Be prepared to prove your identity.
Right to erasure
Under Article 17 of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the data subject has the right to request the erasure of personal data concerning him or her from the register.
This right does not apply to personal data that Taike requires in order to perform its statutory duties. Most of Taike's services are based on compliance with a legal obligation or the performance of a task carried out in the public interest or the exercise of official authority. In these cases, you cannot request the erasure or transfer of your personal data to another system, nor, in principle, can you object to the processing of your personal data. You have the right to demand that Taike delete personal data about yourself that is processed on the basis of your consent. You can send a request to erase your data in writing to [email protected]. Be prepared to prove your identity.
Right to appeal to the supervisory authority
If you believe that your personal data is being processed unlawfully, you can submit a complaint to the Office of the Data Protection Ombudsman.
