The application period for operational subsidies is in autumn. Operational subsidies may be awarded to support the operations of a community or a specific part of their operations.
Operational subsidies are intended for registered communities in different fields of the arts, such as associations, cooperatives, companies, municipalities and foundations. When applying for an operational subsidy, select the artform that your operations most closely involve.
The application period for operational subsidies is in autumn, and they are intended for covering operations in the following year. In 2024, communities may apply for one-year operational subsidies. When awarding operational subsidies, Taike takes into consideration other State support received by the applicant, as well as the necessity of the operational subsidy. These subsidies are discretionary and are awarded on an annual basis on condition that Parliament allocates the required appropriations in its annual State budget.
Operational subsidies may cover only a portion of the total funding of operations and not all expenses. The call for applications for operational subsidies specifies the percentage of eligible expenses that the subsidy awarded by Taike may be used to cover.
The amount of the subsidy combined with other State support may not exceed the total amount of eligible expenses (100%).
Applicants are notified of the decision by the end of January.
