Environmental Art Evening Event on May 18th 2015 at Taike

Welcome to discuss about the environment and the large field of the environmental art! The first Evening Event was organized on April by the Regional Artist on Environmental Art Anu Miettinen, when she told about her work. The theme of the upcoming event is “Artist based projects in the environment” and it is debated by Visual Artist Viva Granlund and by Performance and Community Artist Meiju Niskala. After the debates there's a small group discussion about artist based projects and its challenges.

Environmental Art Evening Events are a new discussion series and its aim is to listen the wishes of the field and better the possibilities to make environmental art projects, and at this way to create employment possibilities to environmental artists. The events are organized two times in spring and in autumn, but events can be organized more often by request. Events consist of debates and small group discussions afterwards.
