Grant structures for the arts in Finland

The Arts Promotion Centre Finland (Taike) will be hosting an English-language webinar on grant structures for the arts in Finland on Wednesday 5 March from 1pm to 2pm. The webinar will discuss the nature of these grants, decision-making, application types, and the evaluation process. In addition, the webinar will separately discuss the special characteristics of Taike grants as part of the overall funding of the arts in Finland.

The webinar will provide answers to the following questions, for example:

  • Which bodies award grants for the arts in Finland?
  • How do these bodies differ from Taike?
  • How do grants for the arts affect social security, taxation and unemployment insurance?
  • How does one apply for a grant from Taike and what should be included in the application?
  • How does Taike view other awarded grants?
  • How long does the decision-making process take, and who makes the decisions on Taike grants?

Questions may be asked during the event. You can also send your questions in advance anonymously on a Webropol form.

The event will be held online in English. Registration is not required in advance.
