Visual artists can apply for public display grants next spring using new Applyforgrants.fi service

Public display grants to visual artists can be applied for using the new Applyforgrants.fi service as of next spring.

The application period for public display grants opens on 8 January and closes on 31 January 2025.

Public display grants are intended for visual artists to support their creative artistic work. These grants are available to professional artists who work in the visual arts, whose works may be displayed publicly, and who reside or have resided permanently in Finland.

The call for applications for public display grants can be read on the Applyforgrants.fi service before the call opens. A link to the call for applications will also be published on the Taike website under “Application periods”.

Taike will hold an info briefing on applying for public display grants on 9 January 2025, 12noon–1pm (Teams). A link to the info briefing will be published on the Taike website under “Events” closer to the date.

Other grants can also be applied for from Taike next spring. The following grants can be applied for using our traditional Online services:

  • Library grants and subsidies for writers and translators
  • Regional grants
  • Artist grants
