The National Council for the Visual Arts has awarded artist grants beginning in 2025. Artist grants were awarded to 12 artists.

Taike will be hosting several webinars this autumn covering this autumn’s calls for applications for grants and subsidies.

The Arts Promotion Centre Finland (Taike) is transferring some calls for applications for support intended for communities to Applyforgrants.fi, the new joint online service of government grant authorities.

Publishers and foreign and minority language writers will have the chance to meet at the Turku Book Fair on 4 October 2024. The programme also includes a panel discussion that will be open to the public.

Each year the Arts Promotion Centre Finland awards about 45 million euros to approximately 3 500 artists and communities.

The Central Arts Council has a key role as an expert in the art policies of the Ministry of Education and Culture.

The theme of this year’s Arts and Culture Barometer is funding and support for artistic work. We invite professional artists in different fields of the arts to respond to our open online survey. Respond to the survey by 1 October!
